A new bill proposes a $5,000 daily cap on sports betting wagers in New York.
It also seeks to ban terms like “bonus” and “no sweat” in advertisements and limit ad timing.
With $22.6B wagered in 2024, this could heavily affect the biggest U.S. betting market.

⚾ MLB Players Sign Licensing Deal with Sportsbook Giant
MLB Players Inc. signed a deal with PENN Entertainment (ESPN BET) to use players’ names and images in promos.
PENN now becomes an officially licensed MLBPA sportsbook partner.
